where irish myth and magic still linger

This practic is dedicated to women and their traditions, those that have historically lived just outside polite society. Irish folklore is full of them: women who knew too much, spoke too plainly, and refused to disappear when the world tried to tidy them away.

Ore magic was created by your classic witch: a woman who somehow ended up a little outside polite society and, like many women before her, learned to turn that position into something useful.

The old stories are full of women who lived at the edges of villages, who knew more than they were allowed, spoke out of turn, and made their living through a combination of intuition, charm, and the strange, enduring fascination people have with the obscene- women defying conventional society often being at the forefront of the deemed ‘obscene’.

This dedication of magic comes from that same lineage (…though with a bit more WiFi and streaming services than I imagine my great-great-great grandmother had).

My goal is simple: to preserve. We will not be forgotten, nor will the women before us, or the women before them.

My practice centers on fortune magick, folk magick, ancestral study, divination, and psychic guidance. Much of what appears here reflects a deep interest in lineage, intuition, and the subtle ways the past continues to speak through the present- especially through nature. Irish folklore and old-country traditions provide the foundation, but the heart of this work is helping. While I’m not adverse to a little baneful magic, the goal ultimately is to follow in the path of St Brigid and do what’s right by the earth and her people.

…where old magic returns to the modern hearth.
